Both my kids are a little under the weather today and it was anextremely busy day at work, so I.AM.TIRED!!
I wanted to do a quick post on the fresh lima beans that I cooked this weekend.
I dumped fresh (still frozen) lima beans in a skillet and added 1/4 cup butter, 1 tablespoon of sea salt, 2 tablespoons of pepper, chopped onion, and finely chopped carrots.
Add a couple of cups of water. Cover and cook for about 30 minutes.
I was so impressed with these!!! I forgot how much better they are fresh vs canned.
