Deals this Week

It has been a while since I have posted in deals.  Honestly, I have been a little underwhelmed by the "easy" deals lately.  I think that as more people jump on the couponing band wagon (just trying to survive in this world) the harder the deals get.  This week I saw a few must have deals that is worth the effort!!

Easter Part 3

Better late than never? Easter part 3 has arrived.

After church we had our annual Easter lunch. It consists of traditional items that I have consumed on Easter since I can remember. Easter lunch followed by the Easter egg hunt was one of my FAVORITE times growing up. Finding the most eggs contributed to my annual earnings as a child. We arent talking pennies people, those eggs contained DOLLARS!!! I remember finding over $60 one year!!

Easter lunch:

Ham
Mashed potatoes with cheese
Bean bundles
Salad
Crescant rolls
Corn casserole (my addition)

Then the hunt. Unfortunately my kids think that EVERY egg must have something in it (spoiled much?). Ruddick quickly thew the empty ones to the ground.

Easter Part 2

Today I will share the barely anticipated second part of the Easter holiday.

We died eggs and for some reason I am terrible at it. Besides RLs amazing glitter job, what the heck happened to the color? i dont understand this.....


Friday night, went to see Disneys Jake and Sohia. It was so so so good!!!







Saturday we practiced hunting eggs.


I told landon we couldnt continue until Ruddick woke up from a nap so she decided to sing next to his door.


Then we made resurection cookies. They were awful, im not sure what I did wrong.





The Easter bunny came!!





I made breakfast. It wasnt pretty, but it was good!!!


And ready for church!!! Not sure what Ruddick is doing?!?!?

An Overview of Easter Part 1

As always the last few days have been packed full of life with the fam. I will share a few highlights...

The kids and I baked this super cute jellybean pizza for rls class at school. It is basically a rolled out sugar cookie topped with icing. When I discovered this genious idea on Pinterest, I did not consider how I would get the pizza ready for traveling without breaking. Therefore my pizza stone had to attend school....that made me very nervous!!








Because I was feeling super momish, I also whipped up these bags for rls friends. Free template from pinterest, zip lock bags, and some divided out peeps!!





I did, however, fail as Ruddicks mom as I totally forgot he was having a party too. Oh well, he is two....who cares, right. Lets be real, at 2 yrs old you are only trying to impress the other parents, right?? Fortunately for me, they already know I suck since my name has been on the RUDDICK NEEDS DIAPERS list for about 2 weeks now. Perhaps I am setting a record.

Moving on to Friday. Once again my kids ocupied themselves by giving their toys bath. They are obsessed with water!! Oh and Landon likes to be naked :/

April Fools

Did you get fooled on April Fools? After a super busy 2 weeks, I told my husband I had to work late one more night. I let his blood pressure rise a bit and panic set in his eyes before I pulled out the April Fools card. Success.

At work, I sent an email around informing my coworkers that I had made brownies and help yourself in the kitchen. They were unhappy to instead find.....
