New Room!

Its been a while since Ive blogged, so I stopped getting ready this morning and made it a priority. With half of my hair straightened and the other half frizzy......I give you updates on the new addition on my house.

I had to stand my ground on this archway. I wanted it to be unique. Im not a fan of the pointy archways and I had envisioned a perfectly round cut out. After convincing everyone that this is best they made an archway they had never made before. And it is BEAUTIFUL!!!






Cant wait to see it with bricks!!!!

This has been a great experience for us with good people contractors. Cant wait for the finished product!!!

Still Target Stalking

Okay folks, I made another stop at target and was super pleased to see that they have added a TON to clearance. Most were 30% with a few at 50%. I was so excited ab a few things that I might actually snatch up at 50 just to be safe. Here are a few of the add ons!
























































































And then my phone ran out of space!! They also added alot of bou stuff finally. Thomas, Cars, Turtles, and more.

Im getting SUPER excited!! It is time to examine my gift closet!

The Story of Sleep

My first 3 yrs of being a mother I made alot of mistakes. I cant give you a list because I have blocked most of them out, but trust me on that statement. However, I always secretly felt pretty awesome because I had managed to keep both children in their own bed. I would tell myself "hey you screwed that up, but at least your kids sleep in their own bed". That had to make me awesome, right?!?

Well....I am no longer awesome, but instead very tired. Let me provide the visual.









You see that little bitty space next to Ruddick? That is where I "sleep". Perhaps you understand? Maybe you judge? I have not decided the side I stand on just yet.

In further news, sometimes when I work late, landon is already in bed. Here she is sleeping in swimsuit bottoms....the top is not under the covers.


Oh and here she is wearing my thong.



I may be awesome or a big fat sleepy failure...we still have fun with it!!

I am OBSESSED with roasting veggies. Luckily my obsession meshes well with the fresh produce season AND my low carb diet.

Ive tried to grow a few things in the past but failed miserably. I decided to instead make great friends with those that CAN grow things!!!

Exhibit A:


Dont I have great friends?!?!? Since I am the only one in the house that eats tomatoes, I knew I needed to pinterest different ways to use my them. Of course.....roasting!! I cut up tomatoes, purple onions, and a few banana peppers. Season heavily with garlic, pepper, sea salt, natures own, and basil.


425 for about 20 mins


Well. Once again, they didnt even make it to my plate!!! I literally leaned over the cookie sheet with my fork and bird doged them like nobody's business!!

Target Clearance

Its that time again!!! Time to stalk the target toy aisle, the semi annual sale is approaching! What! What!

With kids in tow (and feeling like super woman) I embarked on a 2 hr target stroll to gather my research. Step one in my game plan. Here is was I found...
